Keyif was born from a love of drinking coffee and seeing the world through beautiful design. Everything here, from the drinks to how they're served, comes from wanting both to feel right at once.
on the name
A word for keeping things simple.
Keyif is a Turkish word for the quiet pleasure of doing nothing much at all: sitting with a coffee, no rush, nowhere else to be. There's a small beauty in that kind of simplicity, and it's the whole reason for the name. Not a bigger life, just a calmer one: one good cup of coffee at a time.
on speed
We don't rush it.
A cake made in five minutes isn't the same cake. Good coffee needs the right grind, the right pull, the right few seconds of patience. We'd rather take the extra time and get it right than move faster and lose the thing that made it worth having.
on ingredients
Made properly, not mass-produced.
Everything is made by hand, in small batches, with ingredients we'd be happy to use in our own kitchen. No shortcuts, no fillers, nothing swapped out to save a few pence. Quality isn't a feature here, it's the whole point. If we can't do something properly, we don't do it.
Keyif, in the end, is simple: a coffee taken slowly, one sip at a time, next to something beautiful enough to look at twice.
